"We'll revisit this next quarter," said your CFO.

Translation: Your L&D budget proposal was rejected.

The L&D budget approval challenge.

You know your Learning & Development programs deliver results. You have employee success stories, improved performance metrics, and measurable outcomes. Yet when budget season arrives, your L&D proposal gets the polite "we'll consider it next time" response.

Why do 70% of L&D budget requests get denied? Most proposals fail to speak the CFO's language.

What CFOs really think about L&D budget requests.

For the first time, a sitting CFO reveals the insider perspective on L&D budget decisions. Bart van der Looij, with over 10 years of CFO experience approving and rejecting budget requests, shares what separates winning L&D proposals from failed ones.

What you'll learn:

  • Budget killers that instantly sink L&D proposals (and how to avoid them)
  • ROI translation methods - Convert learning outcomes into CFO-friendly financial language
  • Winning proposal elements that secure L&D budget approval

Why this matters now?

Budget planning season is starting. Companies securing L&D investments aren't necessarily those with superior programs – they're the ones with finance-fluent proposals.

This session provides L&D professionals with:

  • Financial literacy for L&D budget requests
  • CFO decision-making insights
  • Proven proposal frameworks
  • Budget approval strategies

Transform your L&D budget approach and join the organizations that consistently secure learning investments.
